If a full bath isn't on the table, run a basin of warm water with two scoops of bath salts and soak the calves while you sit on the edge of the tub.
Recovery isn't a separate event from the workout — it's the second half of it. I made this sequence for my own legs after long days on the salon floor. Steamers open the breath. Salt pulls the tension out. Butter holds the moisture in. Twenty minutes total. Tomorrow's body thanks you.
